| well.. where to begin? i went back to the doctor on monday for yet another check-up. that place is starting to feel like a second home, im there so much! lol but i'd gained six more pounds. i now weigh 127 (i've gained 23 pounds!) they said that braxton weighs approximately 4 and a half pounds.. and they said that he's already shifted into delivery position- but that i shouldn't worry about it too much. the countdown is now down to six and a half weeks! i swear, it doesn't seem like i've been pregnant for seven and a half months.. it seems like just yesterday we found out. but i start going back to the doctor every week now, since im getting so close to my due date. but other than that, i haven't done much at all. cynthia & i have went out a few times, just to get out of the house.. and i've been doing quite a bit of sleeping. sleep is now my best friend.. haha. but i just wanted to stop & update real quick. im waiting on a load of laundry to finish & then im going to bed. i love ya'll. <3 | | |
| well, the beach was okay. i stayed pretty miserable most of the time because of the heat & humidity. and i couldn't get out in the sun much. i ended up buying one of those really big umbrellas so that i could actually go out on the beach with everyone else.. and i really couldn't get in the water much because of my current inability to balance. after one or two waves took me under i decided that the water wasn't a safe place for me. lol john & i went out to eat at crabby mike's on the 4th. i must say, that has to be my new favorite restaurant. i ate like two plates full of crab legs! <3 and then after we ate we went out on the pier & watched the fireworks. it was unlike anything i'd ever seen. they were putting off fireworks all up & down the beach as far as you could see. i tried to take some pictures, but i dont know if any of them are actually any good. and of course, the drive back was HORRIBLE. lol john drove half way & then i drove the rest of the way. and well, as soon as john & i switched places we hit a huge storm.. & well, im just terrible at driving in storms. haha i didnt think we were gonna make it back! but i just thought i'd stop by & update real quick.. im gonna go look up some recipes & such. i love ya'll. | | |
| well, the countdown is now officially down to TWO months. im ready for it to be the end of august already! i swear, everyones right when they say that summer is the worst time to be pregnant. it makes it seem so much hotter outside. but other than that, everything is going great. john & i are getting ready to go to the beach. we're leaving sunday- & i'm pretty excited about that. i think that john, kitty, heather, roger, cynthia, steve, jacob, & taylor are going to go down too.. so it should be a pretty good time. we went to walmart today & got some stuff that we needed before we go.
john & i went to charleston the other day & registered for the baby shower. we registered at target & walmart.. so GO BUY ME SOMETHING! haha just kidding. :) but i think the baby shower is going to be around the end of july.. after we're back from the beach & such.

| whoever said pregnancy was the best time of your life, really needs to be shot in the face. geesh. okay-- not really. but seriously, i've never been more miserable in my entire life. my head hurts constantly, my back feels like its in knots, my feet are the size of footballs, sleep is completely out of the question- ever, i have heartburn at least 4 or 5 hours out of everyday, i no longer fit in ANY of my clothes, && not to mention i now have the grace of an elephant. gosh. although i wouldn't trade it for anything. just feeling him move & kick- and knowing i'll be able to hold him in my arms in less than three months is worth every minute of it.
um, lets see- i haven't wrote in ages, so i'll give ya'll a little update. john & i got a new truck. it's a 2006 dodge dakota quadcab. i loveeee it. and since my car is easier on gas, john's been taking it to work- and i get to drive the truck! :) -although we are now 31 thousand dollars in debt- haha. ah, it won't be too bad though. we only pay about a hundred dollars more a month on the dakota than we did the GMC. although i sure do miss the GMC. we 'def had some good memories in that truck. awl well..
my stepmom is finally divorcing my dad.. and i must say, it's the smartest move i think she could make. although my little sister isn't taking it too well- so i've been trying to go get her more often- to keep her mind off of everything. and besides, it's about time i stepped up & become a good big sister.
john's still working swing shift & i hate it. he's supposed to be starting a day shift job soon- hopefully it all works out. he's at work right now.. although he should be home in about two hours.. && i can't wait. i miss him while he's gone.
john & i are finally starting to get settled in the house. we've still got quite a bit of stuff to get in here, but it's more like home now- not just a house. so yay4that.
but i think im gonna go take a hot bath & then go watch tv 'til john gets home. love ya'll*

| well, lets see.. i went to the doctor today. 'twas good news all around & i had gained 5, yes FIVE, pounds since my last appointment.. (three weeks ago).. so i'm finally gainin' all the weight now. and well, i'm growing out of all of my clothes! lol i have absolutely nothing to wear! and tomorrow is my brother brandon's graduation, and once again, i have nothing to wear. oh well, i'll manage.
although what bothers me the most is that my little brother is graduating. lol it makes me feel so old. haha ah, actually i'm just proud that he actually made it this far. lol
but now that ive wasted ten minutes of my time saying absolutely nothing, i'm going to go to sleep. im such a lazy person. <3 | | |
